Digital Graphics and Logo Design Primers
The Digital Graphics Primer was initially created to aid customers in the use of digital graphic files. It now serves as an educational resource for students to familiarize themselves with how to create and utilize the large variety of digital file formats. As a follow-up to the graphics primer, I created the Logo Design Primer to serve as an introductory and reference guide for students enrolled in my logo design courses. It highlights the many aspects of logo design, from conceptual approaches to working with clients.
The following is a collection of logo designs created for clients of various sizes and industries. Some serve as the starting point for new branding initiatives, while others represent customer growth into new programs, events, and services.
Jill Windburn Consulting
Logo and stationery designed for a creative consultant company specializing in marketing and creative services for small businesses entering into the marketplace.
Alleo Research Group
The Alleo logo, stationery, and brand reference guide was created to serve as supplemental design course material. In doing so, I am able to demonstrate to students the creative and technical processes involved in their design projects.
Pratt Precision Metals
As with the Alleo and Filling Station Cafe projects, this too is an educational sample. This project was created as a teacher-lead collaboration with students. Provided with a mock design brief, I work with the class through the many steps of a logo design process and how it can expand into supplemental design materials.
Filling Station Cafe
Filling Station Cafe serves as another classroom demonstration example, this one executed specifically for a logo design course.
UNM Graduate art Association Website and Collateral
Designed from the ground up, the UNM Graduate Art Association identity, website, and marketing collateral serves as part of a newly implemented rebranding and marketing strategy. The campaign brings the GAA (of which I served as vice president) in line with other student-led University organizations, heightening awareness among graduate art students and their faculty. The new materials serve informational resources and a way to implement new fundraising initiatives.
During my time as an MFA student, faculty, staff, and peers were aware of my background as a graphic designer. As such, I helped with many departmental design needs. These posters represent some of the many projects I volunteered to help create in order to lend my support to the College of Fine Arts.

Illustration and Photography

The photography was taken for a woman’s boutique owner, used for various marketing, advertisement, and promotional materials.
