This series responds to the richly layered visual characteristics of the built environment. Using photography and graphic design elements, the work recontextualizes forms drawn from visual systems encountered within these spaces. Removed from their original context and utilitarian purpose, these elements become material for abstract compositions that place pleasing form in tension with the frenetic visual energy of their surroundings.
